Michael Grajeda

Michael brings more than 15 years of experience leading health and safety programs across a wide range of industries, including offshore energy, pipeline, manufacturing, government, food processing, and commercial construction. His career began in the fire service as a firefighter and paramedic before transitioning into occupational health and safety, where he discovered a passion for educating others and helping create safer work environments.

As Safety Manager, Michael leads Bauer Design Build’s safety program with a proactive, people-first approach. He partners with field teams, trade partners, and company leadership to strengthen job site awareness, reduce risk, and promote a culture where planning, communication, and accountability are part of every project. His focus extends beyond compliance by providing the tools, training, and support that empower every team member to make safe decisions each day.

Committed to continuous improvement, Michael is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health with an emphasis in construction. Bauer Design Build is excited to have Michael leading our safety initiatives as we continue building a culture where everyone goes home safely at the end of every day.
