COVID- 19

Governor Tim Walz issued an executive order yesterday directing Minnesotans to stay at home effective for two weeks beginning Friday, March 27 at 11:59pm. Included in the executive order is language declaring that construction and critical trades are essential. This means that we, Bauer Design Build, will continue to be operating during this time. As the outbreak of COVID-19 continues to spread/evolve throughout Minnesota, the United States and around the world, we wanted to reassure you Bauer Design Build is taking the situation very seriously and are continuing to monitoring it closely.

All Bauer Design Build employees will have an exempt worker verification form to verify that they are an exempt worker, as they are traveling for work, and are not violating the state’s “Stay Home” executive order.We continue to follow safe practices while continuing to take the necessary steps to ensure that our daily operations can continue. while maintaining the safety and well-being of our employees, clients and vendors. Our concern for our team member’s, our client’s and our vendor’s health and safety is our number one concern.

Our office will continue to be open from 8:00 to 3:00. However, if possible please refrain from visiting our office at this time.We have implemented a rotating staff schedule, all other employees will be working from home during this time. Our safe practices includes, but is not limited to practice social distancing to the maximum, cleaning our common-area surfaces multiple times daily as well as having hand sanitizer available to be applied upon entering and leaving of the office. All Bauer Design Build employees are continuing to monitor themselves and their family members for symptoms that could be associated with COVID-19 before coming to work each day, and stay home if any symptoms of COVID-19, or any other respiratory ailment, are present in their households.

Our jobsites will continue to be operating with additional safety precautions. Our field team is continuing to be diligent in monitoring our project sites, and all personnel entering them, for signs of respiratory illness in any individual. If anyone within your organization has tested positive for COVID-19, please let us know so we can do our best to keep everyone safe.If any of our clients have specific needs for your facility, please let us know so we can follow your protocol. If any of our vendor’s businesses are closing and unable to make it to the jobsite, please let us know as soon as possible.

We are actively following the recommendations of the local, state and federal authorities and will make adjustments to our operations as necessary.

During this challenging time, we are committed to fully serving our customers, and responding appropriately to a very fluid situation. As a valued partner, we request your participation in preparing and responding per the guidance of the CDC and other governmental authorities.
