This month BDB’s superintendent Brad Schlechter participated in the event “Ride for the Girls.”

ride-for-the-girlsIt is a motorcycle ride that was a collaborative effort between the Crow River Harley Davidson, Ladies of Harley, Harley Owners Group in conjunction with Allina Buffalo Hospital Foundation. The purpose of this ride was to support the 6th Annual Pink Street Party, which raises funds for families touched by breast cancer. Often times during treatment and even after, individuals and/or their families experience financial stress. Brad understands this very much as his family has been touched by this. Each participant paid an entry fee of $20 or $30 if they had a passenger. The event included a “Best Dressed Bike“ which Brad won! Check out the photos! A big thanks to Brad for showing cancer it “can take a ride.”
